Collins Maths Dictionary - Кей Гарднер

To make the best use of this book, you will need to know what is in it. A complete list of the words starts on the next page. It is a good idea to start by looking up some words you do know. Dip into the book and find your way around it. This book is more than a dictionary of maths words. It gives the spellings and meanings of words, but it also contains a lot of useful examples and reminders. If you look up a word it will always explain what it means and sometimes it will tell you where to look for more information. This book will not teach you how to do maths, but it should help you to understand words you are not sure of and to remember things that you have forgotten.
